Bikram’s beginning yoga class is a complete series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (prananyamas).  These postures are suitable for all ages and levels of ability.  

Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments and joints for the next posture.The Bikram method rushes fresh oxygenated blood back into all organs, glands and nerves restoring all systems to a healthy working order.  

Bikram scientifically designed this 90 minute program to deliver total health through the balancing and strengthening of every system in the body in order to prevent illness, injury and limit the effects of aging.In addition, this series of postures enhances skills of self-control, which greatly reduces high levels of stress.  

Bikram’s Advanced Series includes 84 postures.  This yoga never gets boring.

A Note from Melissa

This yoga saved my life!  I had terrible asthma and allergies and I was overweight and stressed out.  I was always sick and tired, then I found Bikram Yoga.  I struggled in every class in the beginning just to breathe.  I would feel great afterward and I kept going back.  

This yoga class was the best thing that ever happened to me.  Before I knew it,  I quit my corporate job in purchasing management at General Motors in June 1997 and was standing before Bikram Choudhury in Los Angeles, California.  I practiced Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class twice per day for 75 consecutive days (except Sundays.) 

Bikram challenged me to sweat, bend, twist, and breath my way to radiant health.  I gave up ALL medications and haven’t touched any since.  I lost over 20 pounds and kept it off.  When I finished my training I knew my calling was to teach this yoga to as many people as possible.  

I became more forgiving, patient, accepting and loving.  I have given birth twice, returning to my pre-pregnancy weight.  I credit my yoga “bank account” to my recovery.  I’m so grateful to be blessed with the opportunity to introduce students to Bikram Yoga every day.  I couldn’t ask for a greater job or a happier life.

Tuition Policies

Debit cards, checks, cash, paypal, visa & mastercard accepted.

All Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be shared.

Medical extensions require a doctor’s note.  Seniors take 10% off any class card. Early renewal discount 10% off when you buy a new card before your current one expires. Expired classes in last 90 days may be added back on a NEW class card purchase. Or Expired class cards can be extended for $30 monthly.  Yoga mats and towels are required for class.  A new student is anyone who hasn’t been in the last 365 days.  Yes! we still have half off happy hour drop-ins on Fridays from 1pm- 8:15pm, new students must start with new student special, happy hour is only for those who have previously attended classes, brand new students must purchase the new student special and will then be eligible for the half off Fridays. 

Autopay plans can be put on hold for $10 per month, they will only be extended with MD note.

Employment

We have “Energy Exchange” positions available in  exchange for your tuition. We require that a student has been practicing a minimum of three months and plans to commit to a regular yoga practice of at minimum 3 times/week.
